Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to disconnect my phone?
Yes, otherwise you are still the owner of the phone line and responsible for all charges.

Is there a fee to disconnect?
No.

Do I need to disconnect between semesters?
You do not need to disconnect unless you are not returning or switch rooms.  If you do change rooms you will need to disconnect, then re-connect in the new room (and pay the connection fee for the new number).

When should I disconnect my phone?
You should complete the online disconnect form one to two weeks before leaving residence for the summer.

Will I be without phone service once I disconnect?
No.  When you fill out the online form it will ask you what date you would like your phone disconnected.

Additional questions?
